Diagnosis: It has sand inside the rings of the lenses / Zoom System. The ring mechanism is off center.
Consequence: failure to ignite randomly by self-protection system due to overcurrent of the ring mechanism.
Action: disassembly and cleaning. Alignment of the ring mechanism.
Exchange: amazing little painting.
